Ghambir the Mr.consistent

Well the sources from BCCI says that Gambhir is the next Mr.consistent of India after sunil gavaskar. He has scored centuries in his last three matches succesively and his knock in those matches were match saving one.He has been declared as the ICC test player of the year 2009.In 2008 he has got most number of runs in the test matches. He has been ranked 1 in the ICC rank list for test matches. His 167 against the srilanka at Green's park in kanpur was brilliant. Some of those runs were scored with India in a strong position and pressing for a win, while others came in backs-to-the-walls situations that required him to bat long periods. He managed both superbly. On India's successful tour of New Zealand in 2009 Gambhir removed some question marks over his temperament and batting outside the subcontinent. He scored a series-topping 445 runs on the tour and his contributions were massive - Gambhir set up a win in Hamilton, saved a match that looked lost in Napier, and batted New Zealand out in Wellington - the three main jobs an opener is expected to do. His feats since 2008 helped him bag the Arjuna Award.

POWER OF YOGA

Yoga is a 5000 year old science whose teachings were first imparted not in a classroom or Gurukul, but on the battle field. In the epic Mahabharata, the sage, Lord Krishna is first said to have imparted the teachings of Yoga to his despondent student Arjuna. Around 1500 years later, another sage, Patanjali, went on to enunciate, for the benefit of humankind and eternity.

Yoga is a way of life, a conscious act, not a set or series of learning principles. The dexterity, grace, and poise you cultivate, as a matter of course, is the natural outcome of regular practice. You require no major effort. In fact trying hard will turn your practices into a humdrum, painful, even injurious routine and will eventually slow down your progress. Subsequently, and interestingly, the therapeutic effect of Yoga is the direct result of involving the mind totally in inspiring (breathing) the body to awaken.

Everyday people are reporting their wonderful experiences on health benifits of Yoga, the transformation of being, taking you beyond the here and now. In one wonderful session of Yoga, people get to practice a number of things, some poses (asanas) breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation and chanting. In Yoga you get to learn basic terms like Mudras, Bandhas and Chakras. Best of all, Yoga is fun and relaxing while, at the same time, being delectably challenging to beginners.

Ironically, by doing less – correctly – Yoga enhances your strength, energy, vitality, flexibility and levels of endurance. Accordingly, your body and mind start to become more balanced until, eventually, you find it takes so much less energy to move through the day. Yes, any and everyone can do less…and get a lot, lot more!

Pakistan's fall of legendary

Srilanka has won by seven wickets in their second test against pakistan in columbo.Despite their win against the islanders in the T20 world cup final, they failed to do well in t he tests.Srilanka once again has proved by winning the series against pakistan that they are good in al forms of game.Pakistan was 285/1 in their second innings but suddenly fell as the victims of legend muttiah muralihdharan. With the help of his tactics especially doosra ,he made them all out for 325 which means that they lost 9 wickets for 40 runs which is the worst performance in the history of test cricket.Srilanka dominated the series right from the first test match.with this win, they sealed the series.Captain sangakkara played a brilliant knock in both the innings.Nuwan kulasekara was declared man of the match. This is clearly an alarm for pakistan team to raise their standard of cricket in test matches. It was their worst performance.

Bangaladesh's dramatic win against the carribeans

Though windies were playing in their own island, they were totally dominated in the first test match by the bangaladesh players. It is unfortunate game for the hosts as they came to field with seven new debutants in their team.Hence the WCB has agreed to excuse the team as they were inexperienced. The captan of windies team hopes that they will come back stronger in the next match.Well this is the second test win for the bangladesh in their test history. They have played some some 60 tests and out of it they won just two tests.Of course their first win was against the Aussies.Spinners did the job for bangladesh.Windies were in need of 371 runs to win the game but were made all out for 181.For windies David Burner was the only batsman who remained unbeaten on 52* runs.A good come back bangladesh after a series of defeat. The bangladesh is looking forward to seal the series in the next test.
